Don’t let summer fun stress your strands! Chlorine from swimming pools depletes hair’s moisture and affects color treatments. Follow these tips to enjoy summer swimming without sacrificing the health of your hair.
To protect your hair health and color from chlorine, apply conditioner to towel-dried hair before swimming. Comb through for even distribution and leave in.
After swimming, shampoo and re-condition with deep conditioning products such as CHI Keratin, to restore moisture and shine.
Use a clarifying shampoo like CHI Clean Start to remove chlorine and other build-up once a week if swimming frequently.
To revive extremely dry strands, combine CHI Keratin Conditioner with a few drops of CHI Silk Infusion, work through towel-dried hair and cover with a plastic cap. Sit under dryer for 15 minutes (or leave in overnight), let hair cool and rinse thoroughly.
