FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: In a new report released today
by the world renowned Boston Consulting Group titled “U.S. Manufacturing Nears
the Tipping Point”, Farouk Systems Inc. has been noted as an example of
companies engaging in a reshoring trend and bringing production back to the
United States.
After the opening of his second U.S. manufacturing facility
in Houston, Texas in 2009, Farouk Shami has been able to set the example for a
profitable transition of overseas production, even during a recession.
“I’ve been asked several times if it was smart to expand
during a recession,” Shami, Founder & Chairman of Farouk Systems, said.
“And my answer is always the same. Absolutely, yes! I started Farouk Systems in
1986 during a recession and look at how successful it is now. Anytime is the
perfect time for expansion; and I’m proud to say Farouk Systems has remained
committed to bringing jobs back to the United States.”
