Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations
Continuing Education Classes:
The TDLR has implemented Continuing Education requirements for the renewal of all Cosmetology related licensees after September 1st 2006.
Farouk Systems professionally trained education team is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation to present Continuing Education in Texas.
All hairstylists in the State of Texas are required to obtain 8 hours of Cosmetology training and 4 hours of Health and Sanitation.
Farouk Systems offers 4 and 8 hour classes in color, cutting, straightening, relaxing of highly textured hair and an enlightening and motivating 4 hour class “The Business of Hair” excellent in developing your potential as a hairstylist.
CE classes are available at the Farouk Systems University in Houston, Texas. Please contact the University programs coordinator Stephanie Garza for registration and information at drussell@farouk.com
Farouk Systems also offers CE classes through the Armstrong McCall locations throughout Texas. Please contact your local store location for registration information.
*Please note: Texas Cosmetology license and valid ID is required when attending CE classes. Please print clearly, giving accurate information as this will assure the proper credit hours are submitted to the TDLR.
